What type of image, virtual or real, will be produced when an object will be located inside the focal length of a camera lens ?

When the object is located at a location inside the focal point, the image located will be on the same side of the lens as the object and will be a virtual image. Light rays diverge upon refraction due to this the image location can be found by the refracted rays and their point of their intersection is the virtual image location.
