What was the destination of most Dust Bowl migrants?
Most migrants from the Dust Bowl in the mid-American States went west to California.
There was much publicity during the Dust Bowl about the "Eden" of California and the opportunities there for hard-working people. Many of the people who migrate to California did not find an Eden.
However, after the Great Depression end California did become a place of huge opportunity for many people.
