Verified by Toppr

According to the first law of motion, our body tries to be in the state of motion, as it already was, until and unless an external force is acted upon. In this case, our body is moving along a straight path. But once the car takes a turn, centrifugal force acts outward on us and our body tries to maintain its current state and so we are thrown outside.
