The larva of Ascaris migrates to the lungs from the liver through blood and causes the inflammation of lungs. It is characterised by pneumonia, fever, anemia, eosinophilia may also appear. The mature forms may cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, peritonitis.
Liver rot is fasciolosis, which is helminth disease caused by trematodes, Fasciola hepatica.
