The current in wire flows from positive terminal to the negative terminal.
Hence it enters from X side and emerges out from Y side. The current while entering from X goes in anticlockwise direction as seen from face X.
Thus magnetic lines emerge out of the face X.
The north pole of bar magnetic is one from which magnetic lines come out.
Hence X is the north pole of the magnet.
