(a) Ajit bought 3 shirts for Rs. 1500. Aman got 2 shirts of the same type for Rs. 1186.
(b) Aman bought 3 kg pears for Rs. 1080, whereas Ajit bought 5 kg pears for Rs. 1825.

Ajit:
Cost of 3 shirts= Rs.1500

Cost of 1 shirt= Rs.15003= Rs.500

Aman:
Cost of 2 shirts= Rs.1186

Cost of 1 shirt= Rs.11862= Rs.593

Ajit buys the same shirt for less cost than Aman.
Hence, Ajit deals better way than Aman.

(b)
Aman:
Cost of 3kg of pears=Rs.1080

Cost of 1kg of pears=Rs.10803= Rs.360

Ajit:
Cost of 5kg of pears= Rs.1825

Cost of 1kg of pears= Rs.18255= Rs.365

Aman buys the same pears for less cost than Ajit.
Hence, Aman deals better way than Ajit.
