Cushing's syndrome is a disorder associated with the adrenal glands. It is caused due to hypersecretion of adrenal hormone, Cortisol by adrenal glands in the body. Since cortisol regulates carbohydrate metabolism, its overproduction causes a rise in blood sugar level. Blood pressure also increases.
