The largest part of most combustion gas is nitrogen dioxide, water vapor and carbon dioxide and a relatively small part of carbon monoxide.When fuel burns in automobile exhausts hydrocarbons release gasses by complete burning like carbon dioxide or incomplete burning of fuel like carbon monoxide. Large amount of nitrogen dioxide is released around 60-70% while carbon dioxide is around 14-12% and water vapor around 10%.
