Article 21 deals with protection of life and personal liberty. It provides that,”no person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty except according to procedure established by law”. The right is available to citizens as well as aliens. It includes the right to live with human dignity. It covers protection against arbitrary executive and legislative action. It is a part of basic feature of the Constitution. It can be taken away according to the procedure established by law.
