Chipko Movement, Navdanya Andolan and Beej Bachao Andolan are awareness movements that are taken up against deforestation to protect trees. But Project Tiger is not associated with these movements. The main goal of this project was to protect and conserve tigers in their natural habitat and prevent them from extinction.
