Question

Why do the euipotential surfaces due to a uniform electric field not intersect each other

Solution
Verified by Toppr

If the electric field intersect each other their will be a common tangent point and hence their will be two values of electric potencial.

But we know the property of equipotencial surface that they are unique from one other which does not exist if they intersect each other.
