India, 25th July, 2015: The AIPMT re-test that took place on Saturday in various centres of the country, after the 3rd May exam being scrapped by the Supreme court, received a mixed response about the level of difficulty of the test from the candidates. Students who appeared for the retest to enter the most prestigious, state-run medical schools in the country had mixed responses regarding the difference they felt in the difficulty level from the May exam.
CBSE had ensured stringent measures to deter the use of unfair means in the re-test after the apex court’s directive. The students were to be present at their respective centres an hour before the exam time. There was a total pat down and frisking of students before entering the exam halls. Nevertheless, students had a chance to redeem their scores in the second chance. Students felt that Biology was easier and Chemistry was tougher comparatively in this exam.
