The All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) is a medical entrance examination conducted annually in India,conducted by the CBSE, Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across the country. We have the AIPMT 2016 Syllabus in this article.
Importance of this exam relies on the aim of this exam which is is to make medical education available on an equitable basis to all regions of the nation and to foster inter-regional exchange.
ABOUT AIPMT
AIPMT is a single stage exam conducted usually on 1st Sunday of May. Consisting of one paper with 180 objective type questions with 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) respectively. Alloted time is 3 hrs. Each question carries 4 marks,with -1 for each incorrect answer.No penalty for No response.
