Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. AP EAMCET Seat Allotment for 2018 will be done for those candidates, who have qualified for the exam of  AP EAMCET 2018 and have filled their choices of college for the procedure of seat allotment.

  • Hall Ticket Number of EAMCET 2018
  • Date of Birth
  • Password of TS EAMCET

AP EAMCET 2018 Seat Allotment Procedure

The Seat allotment of AP EAMCET 2018 takes place completely in the online mode. For the process, candidates have to login by entering their credentials and check their seat allotment. The AP EAMCET 2018 seats are allotted to the qualified candidates by the admission authority on the basis of their merit, category, gender, local area, reservation category along with the availability of seats. Candidates have to remember that no individual notifications get sent to the candidates.

How to Download the AP EAMCET 2018 Seat Allotment Letter?

Here are the steps you need to follow to download the seat allotment letter of AP EAMCET 2018:

  • Log-in by entering the log-in ID, hall ticket number of AP EAMCET, Date of birth and password.
  • Now download and get a printout of the seat allotment letter after clicking on the link that will appear on the screen.

Candidates need to use the same method to download their provisional letter.

How to Get Information through SMS

  • Type APEAMCET (Counseling keyword)
  • Then type NUMERIC CODE (Code specified for query) XXXXXXXX (Hall Ticket Number)
  • Send SMS to +91 8790499899.

Note:
NUMERIC CODE = 01 (for Login ID)
XXXXXXXX = Your APEAMCET Hall Ticket Number
E.g.: APEAMCET 01 43632401

Fee Payment of AP EAMCET Seat Allotment 2018

Candidates who get the allotted seats need to pay the admission fee through the challan. For that, they need to download the challan and then pay the tuition fees at any Andhra Bank or Indian Bank. Once the payment of fee is done, one needs to download the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted institute with the fee receipt to confirm their admission. Students who don’t get any allotted seats will be able to participate in the second round of counselling along with the new registered applicants.

Seat Booking Criteria of AP EAMCET 2018

Once a student (General Category) obtains approximately 20% marks he/she qualifies for the seat allotment process. There is no such minimum requirement condition for students of SC or ST. Based on the scores obtained, every student is given a state level rank. This rank helps a student to get admission into engineering and medical colleges all over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Colleges that admit students under the counseling based on EAMCET ranks fall under these university regions:

  • Andhra University (AU region)
  • Osmania University (OU region)
  • Sri Venkateswara University (SVU region)
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU region)

Candidates will be given seats in various participating institutes of AP EAMCET 2018 that will then offer admission in various B.Tech programmes. The candidates who get shortlisted have to choose the AP EAMCET 2018 participating institute during the time of counselling session when they have to fill in their choice.
