How should I prepare?

A decent BITSAT score is generally above 320 and considered exceptional above 350. Scores of such caliber are required to grab the top branches. From my experience, I enlist a few BITSAT tips and tricks which enhanced my score and a few which could have improved it even more:

  • Go for shorter and trickier questions, as they are the ones which will be asked in the paper.
  • Be very stringent about efficient time management. Enhance your speed, and work out your strengths.
  • Simulate exam-like environment frequently. Take care to give lots of tests and test series papers.
  • Be careful about the bonus questions. Remember, you won’t be able to revert to the original 150 questions once you choose the bonus questions.
  • Give English its credit. These are easy marks requiring low efforts. Make sure you’re thorough with this section.

BITSAT is different from the other exams in terms of its questions-to-minutes ratio. Hence, you need to formulate a different strategy to crack it. Read about BITSAT 2018 Tips for preparation here! You can also find a list of BITSAT 2018 books you must follow here.
