The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test, or BITSAT 2018, is an equally competent examination as JEE. While BITSAT 2018 approaches fast, it is high time that you differentiate the syllabus for JEE and BITSAT, and understand the essence of the unique preparation it demands. To begin with, we present you the syllabus for BITSAT 2018. BITSAT usually covers most of NCERT textbooks along with few other topics (The important ones have been highlighted for you). - Physics for BITSAT 2018: Units and Measurements, Kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Impulse and Momentum, Work and Energy, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, Modern Physics, Electronic Devices.
- Chemistry for BITSAT 2018: States of Matter, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Thermodynamics, Physical and Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Hydrogen and s-block elements, Principles of Organic Chemistry and Hydrocarbons, Stereochemistry, Organic Compounds with functional groups containing oxygen and Nitrogen, Theoretical principles of experimental chemistry, Biological, industrial and environmental Chemistry.

Preparing for BITSAT 2018 is very tricky for this examination requires a lot of problem-solving speed along with a truckload of questions. Above that, it is an online test which requires you to have perfection on online test series. Candidates who are used to pen-paper approach experience a lot of difference while giving the test online. The lack of being able to refer to any question of choice makes online tests especially challenging. Also, BITSAT is the only examination amongst all its contemporaries which provides its candidates with bonus questions. Along with the sum total of 150 questions, it allows students to attempt an extra 12 questions and lets students gain an extra edge.
Sample or Practice online test: A sample test demonstrating the features of BITSAT 2018 will be made available to the registered candidates on which they can practice as many times as desired. The test is an exact replica of the final test to help students get acquainted with the system. However, this contains very limited number of questions only to present a sample test environment.
It is highly recommended that students practice more test series and equip themselves with the proper understanding of this test as students are mostly comfortable with offline tests.

According to the students and experts, overall online exam of last year’s BITSAT was of moderate level. According to the candidates, Mathematics was the toughest section; Physics and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning were tricky.
