The CLAT Exam Dates 2019 have been announced by the officials now. Like every year, the examination for admission to undergraduate & postgraduate law programmes would be conducted. This year, there have been a few changes and the CLAT Exam would be conducted by the National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO). CLAT Admission Process 2019
Students who want to get admission into the National Law Universities for their five-year integrated and postgraduate law programmes need to give the CLAT 2019 exam. The CLAT 2019 admission process usually starts with the declaration of the Common Law Admission Test dates. After the CLAT 2019 notification is done, applicants have to fill the CLAT application form after making sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. With filling up the application form, the CLAT 2019 committee then issues the admit cards that are basically hall tickets for the exam. All the applicants who give the CLAT 2019 online paper are given an All India Rank (AIR) once the result of CLAT is announced. As per their CLAT 2019 scores, the test takers would go through the counselling process and then an NLU is offered based on their merit-cum-preference by the Common Law Admission Test committee.

CLAT is a 2-hour exam, consisting of 200 questions that are spread across five different areas and is held online.

CLAT 2019 Syllabus
As we know, the CLAT 2019 would be conducted in the online mode where the question paper would have 200 questions from 5 different subjects including English (Comprehension), Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Here are some details of the subject areas:
English including comprehension: The English section would test the proficiency of students in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. It includes comprehension passages and grammar, understanding of the passage, correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: The General knowledge would check the general awareness including static general knowledge. There would be questions on current affairs that will test students’ knowledge of national and international current affairs.
Mathematics: This section tests a candidate’s understanding of elementary mathematics, i.e., maths that has been taught up to 10th Class/standard.
Legal Aptitude: This test would check the students’ interest in the study of law study of law, legal propositions (described in the paper), problem-solving ability, research aptitude, etc.
Logical Reasoning: It would include logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, rectifying illogical arguments, analogies, logical sequences, etc.
