The generic pay of bank clerk is around twelve thousand rupees and a gross salary of around twenty thousand rupees. The salary of bank clerks in both private and government banks are almost the same however their allowances may vary from organization to organization. For instance, the banks which recruit through IBPS can have a different allowance structure compared to the SBI or the other public banks of the nation. Eligibility Criteria for Bank Clerk Exam

The bank clerk exam eligibility criteria below are to help you provide guidance on the fact, whether or not you are eligible for the post of a bank clerk or not. Here is the following list:

  1. Age Limit for Bank Clerk – The age must be minimum 20 Years and maximum 28 years old to apply this post.
  2. Age Relaxation – There are 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years age relaxation for OBC category. For Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen, the Actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years.
  3. Education Qualification Eligibility – The candidate should have graduation from government recognized university. Only the valid mark sheet will be considered. They should be proficient in the official language of the State. Moreover, a candidate should be able to operate the computer and basic operation on it.
  4. Nationality/ Citizenship – Citizenship of India required or A subject of Nepal / Bhutan or the Tibetan Refugee who shifted to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
