- Prepare a Schedule
Prepare your schedule right from the morning to the time to get on your bed winding up for the day. Your day should start from some early morning relaxation exercises, followed by a heavy breakfast (remember a good breakfast is the key to a goof day), freshening up and picking up the subject and start with it, never miss your meals, take adequate rest and never waste too much time in breaks.
It is advisable to note down the subjects you want to pick for the day. Ad keep ticking or crossing out as and when you complete your task for the day.
- Follow the Schedule
It’s not only important to prepare a schedule for a week, but also make sure that you follow the same. However, at times due to unavoidable circumstances you might miss out on any of the decided task for the day, not to worry just push it for the next day or next week. - Don’t have too much on your platter
Do not keep too many tasks for the day. Commerce has 5 subjects to be dealt with make sure all the five are covered in a week. You might take Sunday as an off from your schedule, because your mind and body needs time to retain all that you have studied for the week. - Do not forget to feed yourself
While following the above mantras do not forget to feed yourself with healthy food. Food not only drives you to study better but also helps you understand faster. You are more productive when fed with healthy food and drinks. A filled stomach coordinates better with your mind and body, as it keeps you away from any sickness that might intervene.
- Take adequate rest and sleep
Adequate breaks and power naps help you regain and retain what is studied. 8 hours of sleep is what every student much necessarily indulge in ones 24 hours schedule. Do not sleep for long hours and mess up with your schedule, this delay continues for the entire day. There is a thin line between laziness and tiredness. Take rest because you need to be fresh enough to begin with your next subject and not because you are lazy and would procrastinate everything.
- Meditate
Meditate for at least 10 – 30 minutes a day. This can be before you go to bed or after you wake up or anytime you need it during the day. Meditation does not mean a literal yoga exercise but just closing your eyes and keeping your mind blank and refreshing everything that goes on in your head. Listening to your favourite music on low volume, shutting your eyes and bracing yourself or just concentrating in your breathing.
- Indulge yourself into some play or physical activities
Physical activities are a must. It is said that in order for man to succeed in life, God provided him with two means, education and physical activity, one for the soul and other for the body, but these means need to work simultaneously, for a man can attain perfection. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.
- Solve Sample Papers
After you study the concepts and are done with enough portion covered in all the subjects, keep solving sample papers at the end of every month or three weeks to know and evaluate how much you have understood. And keep practicing. Practice makes a man learn thus, leading to perfection. Sample question papers are easily available online or in your school library grab one and solve them.

- Business Studies is a theoretical subject which contains various advantages, disadvantages, features, definitions, etc. and few numerical here and there read each of them and use sticky notes or make your keywords for simple understanding.
- Economics is again a theory subject and includes market and economy related concepts with graphical representations and data for better understanding.
- English is a wide subject with comprehensions, grammar, literature, reading and writing skills. This subject cannot be taken lightly and needs to be kept in touch with and included at least 3 or 4 times a week.
