Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad

One of the newborn Indian Institutes of Technology, established in 2008, IIT Hyderabad is spread over 600 acres of land. It is located on the National Highway 9 in Yeddumailaram in Hyderabad. National Institute of Technology, Warangal

In its 56 years of existence, NIT Warangal has come to be recognised as one of the top engineering colleges in the whole country. Previously known as Regional Engineering College, it was elevated to the status of NIT in 2002 after being formally allotted the tag of ‘Institute of National Importance’. International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad

Established in 1998, IIIT Hyderabad is an autonomous institution approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Located in the Gachibowli town of Andhra Pradesh, the institution offers some of the finest courses in Information Technology at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Osmania University – College of Engineering, Hyderabad

Established in 1929, Osmania University in Hyderabad is one of the most traditionally well known engineering college in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Besides B.Tech, the college also offers M.Tech and MCA courses to students. In 1994, the institution was granted the ‘autonomous’ tag and was subsequently accredited by the National Assessment and Accredition Council (NAAC), besides being recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

K L University, Guntur

This university is located on the Museum Road of Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. It was established as a self financing institution in 1980, by the Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities. The college received the status of a ‘deemed university’ in 2009, along with the approval of the UGC, in the year 2009. Presently, K L University offers 24 B.Tech programmes and 22 postgraduate (M.Tech and PhD) programmes.
