The wait is over for the lakhs of students who were eagerly awaiting the Haryana Board of School Education Result i.e. 10th Result and 12th result. The HBSE 12th and HBSE 10th results will be declared in the month of May 2018 respectively.

HBSE 10th and 12th Results 2018

According to official reports, around 7.51 lakh students (regular and private) appeared in the HBSE class 10 and class 12 examinations in 2018. The overall pass percentage for HBSE 12th results 2017 was 64.5%, with the girls outperforming the boys. 73.44% girls cleared the 12th exam 2017 as compared to 57.58% boys who appeared for the examination.

A total of 3.88 lakh students appeared for the HBSE 10th board examination in 2018. The exam was conducted on March 8 at over 1600 examination centers across Haryana. Monika Rani from Senior Model School, Bhirdana topped the HBSE 10th examination 2017 with 493 marks. Rupesh from Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Kairu came in second with 491 marks, and Sakshi from Amar Jyoti Senior Secondary School, Bhuthan Kalan secured the third spot with 490 marks.

HBSE 10th and 12th Results: Previous Year’s Statistics

Let’s take a look at the previous year’s statistics of the HBSE 10th and 12th results to gain some perspective. This data will help students understand the strictness and evaluation standards followed by the evaluators to check the answer sheets.

The past records of Haryana Board Result have been disappointing; however, despite the low pass percentage, the Haryana Board Result has shown signs of improvement.

Out of approximately 3.17 lakh students who participated in the Haryana Board 10th examination 2017, only 49 percent were able to qualify in the Haryana Board 10th Result 2017. The girls of HBSE proved that despite all the hardships they can overcome any odds if given a chance. The girls scored a cumulative passing percentage of 52.62, despite the low overall pass percentage. Last year, more than 69,350 students had to reappear for the Essential Repeat option.

In HBSE 12th Exam 2017, approximately 2.5 lakh took up the test of which only 62.40 percent students could qualify for the examination. As the Haryana board conducts semester wise examination, as compared to the last two semesters, this year they made a considerable improvement. Last year was 53.96 percent, while for the first semester exams held in September last year it was 56 percent.

The above statistics are only the indicators of cumulative performance in the HBSE Results. Students should not get disheartened and should have faith on their performance in the HBSE Board examination.

How to Check the Haryana Board Result

  • First, visit the official webpage http://www.bseh.org.in/
  • Click on the ‘Result’ link
  • Enter your Roll Number or Your Name
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • Now students can view their result on the computer screen
  • Finally, you can get the printout for future reference

After students have checked their HBSE 10th Result or HBSE 12th Result, they will have the option to download it in the PDF format for future reference. They can also opt to take a printout of the online result scorecard for safe keeping until the original mark sheets are issued by the HBSE.

In case students have ER (Essential Repeat) in any examination, they will be able to register and improve their HBSE 10th Result or HBSE 12th Result scores. To register, they need to fill the application and pay a nominal application fee.

HBSE 12th Results- How to apply for Re-evaluation?

In the event of a candidate not being satisfied with his/her HBSE 12th results, there is a provision to apply for re-checking or re-evaluation within 20 days of the declaration of the results. To apply for re-evaluation, the candidate needs to register online by paying the following amount as the requisite fee:

  • Fees for re-checking- Rs. 250 per answer book.
  • Fees for re-evaluation- Rs. 1000 per answer book.

Candidates are advised to confirm the above-mentioned fee amounts at the time of the announcement of re-checking/re-evaluation.

About Board of School Education Haryana

The Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani was established in the year 1969. It conducted its first examination at the Secondary Level in the year 1970 and Higher Secondary in the year 1976. To improve the education standard in the state, the board adopted the 10+2 pattern of education as per the new national education scheme starting from 1987. To fulfill the need of vocational education, it started conducting the vocational examination at intermediate level starting from the year 1990. HBSE, for the convenience of students who are unable to pursue regular education classes, has established the Haryana Open School as well.
