JEE Advanced results 2015 were announced on 18th June, 2015. This year, Madras zone performed rather well with the majority of 5 in the top 10 rankers of JEE Advanced. As evident from the JEE Advanced results, IIT Bombay catered to the highest number of top 100,500 and overall rankers.

As per the statistics deduced from the JEE Advanced 2015 results, while 102,385 male students registered for the IIT-JEE Advanced 2015 exam, 96,895 actually appeared out of which 23,407 passed. Of the 22,335 girl students who registered, 20,342 appeared and 3,049 cleared the exam. This year, the cut-off for JEE Advanced was 105 for general candidates, much lower than last year’s 115. For Other Backward Castes (OBCs) it was 70, for Scheduled Castes (SCs) 50 and for Schedule Tribes (STs) it was 44.
