JEE 2018 OMR Sheet Released:
A candidate can go and view their answer key on the link given above and also download it. A candidate will require their application number, roll number and the password to check their OMR sheet. The release of JEE 2018 OMR Sheet also means that you can challenge the JEE board if you think your response is not correctly captured.
This year the paper could probably be considered the easiest among the previous three years. In such an easy paper, every mark counts and a lot of ranks exist at the difference of just 1 mark. So we urge you to carefully check the scanned image of your JEE 2018 OMR sheet for any discrepancies. A small mistake by the JEE board could very well affect your rank.
Candidates, who are not satisfied with the captured response, can challenge the JEE Main 2018 Answer Key by filling an online application form. If a student finds any discrepancies in the scanned OMR such as their answer being correct but shown otherwise or not shown at all, then the candidate can challenge the authorities by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per answer. The challenge of JEE Main 2016 Answer Key will be accepted online only. The fee can be paid by credit/debit card or e-challan. In such a case, the candidate’s money is refunded only if his/her claim of a discrepancy is found to be true. Decision of JAB (Joint Admission Board)/CBSE on all the challenges will be final and no further communication will be entertained.
The JEE 2018 OMR sheets will be on display on the website until April 27, 2018. And if a student wants to challenge the JAB, they should do it on/before the above-mentioned date.
Kindly note: The candidates who appeared in online examination should verify the question paper received to them with the question paper of concerned date available on the website. The answer key is according to the question paper available on the website.
Also: There is no OMR sheet in online examination. The attempted question paper has been e-mailed to the candidates.
The result of the JEE Mains will be announced on April 30, 2018.
