About JIIT
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida was established in the year 2001 and has been declared as a “Deemed to be University” under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 in the year 2004.
It is a state-of-the-art, environmentally conditioned campus comprises smart buildings with Wi-Fi connectivity covering the Academic Block, Business School cum Research Block, Faculty Residences, Student Hostels and Annapurna. Well equipped modern laboratories and an intellectually stocked Learning Resource Centre with books and E-Resources provide a pleasant and stimulating ambience.
JIIT has been constantly ranked amongst the top engineering Institutes in Delhi NCR. Recently it has been ranked among top Engineering Institutes in India by Edu Rand 2014 Engineering College Rankings.

Application Procedure
ONLINE FILLING (ONLINE PAYMENT)

- The aspiring candidate should register at JIIT Admissions portal.

- The candidate can pay the Examination Fee by Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking.

- On successful payment, an Application ID number will be allotted.

- Upload the photograph, signature of candidate & signature of parents and submit.

- Take a print-out of the form and send it to “Admission Cell (UG Programs), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida – 201307 (U.P)”.
- Note: Write “ONLINE REGISTRATION-INTERNET BANKING” on the envelope before posting.
ONLINE FILLING (DD PAYMENT)

- The aspiring candidate should register at JIIT Admissions portal.

- On successful submission, an Application ID number will be allotted.

- Upload the photograph, signature of candidate & signature of parents and submit.
- Take a print-out of the form, attach a DD of Rs.1200 in favour of “Jaypee Institutes Admission Account” payable at Noida/Delhi and send it to “Admission Cell (UG Programs), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida – 201307 (U.P)”.
OFFLINE FILLING

- Obtain application form and brochure from any of the four campuses of Jaypee by cash payment of Rs.1200 or by sending a bank draft of Rs.1200 to JIIT favoring “Jaypee Institutes Admission Account” payable at Noida/Delhi.
- Send the completed Application Form to “Admission Cell (UG Programs), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida – 201307 (U.P)”.
MERIT LIST
A merit sequence will be prepared for the applications received based on the overall All India Rank in JEE (Main) – 2018 examination.
The merit sequence for SC/ST candidates shall be made by applying the cut off 10% below the final rank (in JEE-Main) obtained by the candidates short-listed in the general category
COUNSELLING
A combined counseling for JIIT-Noida, JUIT-Waknaghat, JUET-Guna and JU-Anoopshahr shall be held from July 1, 2018 – July 3, 2018 at JIIT Sector 62 Noida only.
The counseling date on which a candidate shall be called will be updated on the website for all candidates whose applications are found valid.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate Should be passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology from a recognized board or institution like CBSE or state board.

Placements are done at Sector-62 campus. Thus, placements are same as JIIT Noida (Sector-62 Campus).
Training And Placement
In order to meet the manpower requirements of the Industry, we at JIIT put great value in collaborating with Industry in ensuring that our students acquire the right knowledge, skill and aptitude through practical training in Industry. As per our academic programme, the students, on completion of their 6th semester (3rd Year) of B.Tech have to undergo Summer Training in Industry during the summer break. This training is an integral part of the curriculum and is aimed at making the students getting acquainted with the processes, practices, as well as rigor and complexities of the industrial world.
For the students who have completed their 3rd Year, their summer training programme is held in the months June and July.

Alumini
- Atri Sharma, 2014 Passout BTech (IT), Within less than one year of his graduation from JIIT, he is now the Assistant Vice President (Data Systems and and Integration) at a leading MNC bank, Barclay, Bangalore. So far this is the fastest growth by any JIIT alumnus. We wish you all the very best for future.
- Alumni Meet 14th Feb 2015 JIIT held its maiden Alumni Meet (for JIIT & JBS both) on 14th Feb 2015. The event in itself was an impressive one. It was indeed great to have more than 160 Alumni participants from all pass out batches. The Event started at 05:30PM with a warm welcome to all our Alumni by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. S.C Saxena through his enlightening words followed by spectacular cultural performances (Dance, singing, instrumental & mimicry etc) given by our present students of JIIT. There was a brief tea-break in – between and the Alumni enjoyed wonderful interaction with VC , HOD’s & Professors and re-lived the nostalgic moments of their JIIT days. Soon after the tea break, event again resumed with some of the Alumni sharing stage to present their feelings on being back to Alma-Mater and their achievements in professional front. A sharp Quiz round added more fun to the event. Priyam Kotwal (Biotechnology, 2014 batch Pass out) gave a melodious singing performance on guitar. With these memorable moments, the event concluded with a vote of thanks by JIIT Team to the Alumni followed by sumptuous Dinner and take away goodies.
