Manipal University Karnataka:

One of the most prestigious universities in India, the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has its home base in Manipal, Karnataka, India. Formerly known as MAHE, it was only in the year 2006 that it was shortened to Manipal University, due to the fact that ‘Academy’ did not indicate the meaning of University. Now it is commonly referred to as Manipal University Karnataka. The founder of the university, Dr. Tonse Madhava decided to transform a barren land into what it is today, a sprawling campus of one of the best universities in all of India. Manipal University Karnataka started with the foundation of Kasturba Medical College, one of the first medical universities in the private sector industry. This was soon followed by the engineering college and then the dental one and the rest, as they say, is history.

Now, Manipal University Karnataka offers a comprehensive list of programs ranging from architecture to medicine to journalism and engineering; with both undergraduate as well as post graduate courses.

The quality of education is one of the core principles of the university and it is due to this reason that all the degrees from Manipal are recognized all over the world.

The infrastructure itself is a thing of modern architecture, with multi-cuisine food courts, a gym, football course as well as swimming pools.
