About MP Board

MP Board was established under the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act, 1965, to regulate the secondary education in the state of Madhya Pradesh and other ancillary affairs. The MP Board examinations are conducted by the MPBSE to assess the academic performance of students at HSC and HSSC level. Every year, hundreds of thousands participate in the MP Board 12 examination and MP Board 10 Examination. The syllabus taught in CBSE board and MP Board is more or less the same, so state board students appearing for entrances like JEE, AIPMT find NCERTs quite familiar and helpful for competitive exams.

Every year, MP Board conducts board exams for Class 10th and 12th in the month of March-April, with the Class 12th exams beginning in the first week of March and ending around the first week of April. Whereas, Class 10th exams usually start in the first week of March and finish by the end of the month. The board completes the examination process within the month of March, so they have ample time for evaluation of answer sheets and preparation of the results. MP Board results are declared around mid of May.
