NEET

NEET is National Eligibility Entrance Test. It is a national level entrance test regulated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET is conducted for those candidates who wish to seek admission into undergraduate medical & dental courses (MBBS/BDS) across India. Officials recently released the NEET 2018 counselling schedule.

The NEET 2018 Counselling for the all India quota seats would begin from July 3 onwards. The Counselling Schedule has been released on the official website by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The Counselling will be conducted in online mode for all those candidates who will qualify for admissions in government medical and dental colleges across India. Candidates who qualify in the entrance test can apply for around 13,000 MBBS and BDS seats only. Qualified candidates will have to first register themselves for the counselling process during the stipulated period in order to participate in NEET Counselling 2018.

Here is the official NEET 2018 Counselling Schedule:

All India Quota (Online Counselling)
Registration, Choice Filling (From 5th) & Indicative Seat 3rd July to 11th July 2018 (Registration will be open up to 05:00 PM of 11th July 2018 only)
Choice Filling and Locking 12th July 2018 (up to 05:00 PM of 12th July 2018)
Process of Seat Allotment – Round 1 13th July -14th July 2018
Round 1 Result Publish 15th July 2018
Reporting at the Allotted Medical/Dental College against 1st Round 16th July to 22nd July 2018 (up to 05:00 PM of 22 ND July 2018)
Exercising of Choices and Locking (Round 2) & New Registration 1st August 2018 to 4th August 2018 (Registration will be open up to 05:00 PM of 4th AUGUST 2018 only)
Process of Seat Allotment – Round 2 5th -7th August 2018
Round 2 Result Publish 8th August, 2018
Reporting at the Allotted Medical/Dental College against Round 2 9th to 16th August 2018 (up to 05:00 PM of 17TH August 2018
Transfer of vacant seats to State Quota 16th August 2018 (After 05:00 PM)
Commencement of MBBS/BDS first year session – from 4th August 2018
