NLU Delhi AILET 2019:
National Law University, Delhi (NLU) would be conducting the AILET 2019 in the first week of May 2019 in order to offer admissions into the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. AILET 2019 would also be held in an offline mode wherein candidates would need to give the paper in person. AILET would be organized in more than 21 cities of India.
The All India Law Entrance Test is planning to offer 83 seats to five-year integrated law programmes and 20 seats to LLM programmes. By giving the AILET 2019, candidates would be securing a seat in the NLU, Delhi. AILET 2019 – Admission Process
The NLU, Delhi organizes the All India Law Entrance Test for admissions into its undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. AILET would be getting conducted annually and its admission process begins with a notification and all the application forms are made available to the candidates. Candidates first get the access to the admit card and once that is done, the national-level law entrance test is conducted. Students can then get their result and know who has qualified AILET’s counselling and admission procedure thereafter.

Eligibility Criteria
For BA LLB (Hons): Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2018 can also apply.
Age Limit: Below 21 years as on 01st July 2018 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. For the Foreign Nationals to be eligible, they need to have 65% marks in the qualifying exam.
Total Seats: 80 seats, 10 seats are kept aside for Foreign Nationals.
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities [One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants; two supernumerary seats for students from J&K subject to the approval of Governing Council; the candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.
For LLM (One year): LLB or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability); the candidates appearing in final LLB examination in April/May 2018 can also apply.
Total Seats: 45+5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary).
Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
For PhD: LLM Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability); for detailed eligibility conditions visit University website (www.nludelhi.ac.in).
Application Process
All the candidates who are interested in this exam need to apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs 3000/- (Approx.) for General Candidates, Rs 1000/- (approx.) in case of SC/ST/PwD drawn in favour of Registrar, National Law University, Delhi, payable at Delhi. They also need to submit copies of the necessary caste/physical disability certificates.
All the below poverty line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from the application fee.

AILET Exam Centres 2019
Candidates would be informed about the AILET 2019 Exam centres by the first week of January 2019. Students are advised to check the exam centres of AILET 2019 and then proceed to fill up the preferences in the application form. The NLU Delhi would be conducting the AILET 2019 at as many as 40 exam centres that are located in 21 cities of India. Note that the allotted exam centres will not be changed under any situation. So, candidates need to fill up the AILET Exam Centres 2019 as per their proximity and convenience.
AILET Cutoff 2019
Once the results are declared, the NLU Delhi would be releasing the cutoff of AILET 2019. The Cutoff is simply the minimum marks at which a candidate gets admitted into the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. AILET Exam Pattern 2019
Aspirants of AILET 2019 would be informed about the exam pattern of AILET 2019 by the first week of January 2019. It will help all the candidates to get an overview of the law entrance examination as it will include the type of questions, question pattern, marking scheme, total marks, duration and other crucial details. AILET 2019 would be conducted in the offline mode by the first week of May 2019. Students will be given one mark for each correct answer and get negatively marked for each incorrect answer with 0.25 marks. Note that the AILET 2019 would include 150 questions that cover subjects like General Knowledge, English, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Mathematics.
