Online Application of forms for the JEE Main 2018

The Central Board of Secondary Education-CBSE- released important notifications pertaining to the JEE Main 2018 Examination earlier today i.e. 23rd November 2017. As per the official release on their website jeemain.nic.in, the online application of forms for the JEE Main 2018 will commence from 1st December 2017 and the last date for submission of the application forms online will be 1st January 2018.

The candidates should keep in mind that the application forms are accepted only through the online mode. Also, last year onwards, Aadhaar Card is made mandatory to apply for the examination. While filling application form of JEE Main 2018, the candidates will be required to enter their Aadhaar card number, date of birth, name, & gender, which will be confirmed with the UIDAI’s data.  In case, there is a mismatch in the details, the applicants will not be able to fill the application form for JEE (Main) 2018.

It is essential to submit the applications before the deadline to ensure timely issue of JEE Main 2018 admit cards. The admit cards for JEE Main 2018 will be made available tentatively in the month of March 2018.

The JEE Main 2018 will comprise of two different papers. Paper I is a general objective type paper which serves as a qualifier for the JEE Advanced examination; whereas candidates appearing for Paper II are given a chance to apply to various architecture courses in India.

The JEE Main Examination 2018 will be conducted in both offline-pen and paper-based and online-computer based-mode. The offline examination will be conducted on 8th April 2018 and the online exam will be held on 15th and 16th April 2018.

The eligibility criteria for candidates who can appear for the examinations remains more or less same, with only slight relaxation this year on-wards. Read more details on the same here!
