There are many private and government schools affiliated with the Punjab School Education Board.

The Punjab School Education Board 10th Result will be announced in May of 2018. Reportedly, an estimated 4.7 lakh students sat for these Board examinations this year. It is possible for candidates to receive their results through SMS or email if the candidate subscribes with the necessary information through the PSEB website (linked above). To receive an SMS, candidates will need to send a text message to a number (later updated on the website) through the Punjab School Education Board. Then, students will be eligible to receive their results and mark sheets via SMS.

When you do have access to your results, it is important to thoroughly check all scores to ensure you have been adequately marked.

The webpage that will prompt you for your reference number and roll number resembles this image above. It is important to ensure that you are entering the information in the correct website so as not to compromise your personal information, and to ensure that you receive the results as soon as they are released. The Punjab School Education Board website will have a white seal on the left corner.

What do I do if I think I’ve been incorrectly graded?

If you are doubting the scores you have received, you have the option of applying for re-checking or re-evaluation. There is no guarantee that through this process your marks are bound to improve, but it offers the chance for your exam to be re-evaluated and an error to be rectified. To apply for the re-checking process, fill out the forms as soon as possible.

On the Board’s site, you will find the re-evaluation form. You will need to download and print out the form and fill out all the required information based on the instructions given in the form. It is important that this step is done correctly to ensure that the chance of your re-evaluation is not delayed.

The Board will also conduct supplementary examinations in the month of June, and release the results from the examinations in July.

Some statistics

Year Students Appeared Overall Pass Percentage
2013 2,53,478 80
2014 2,90,156 84
2015 3,39,818 87
2016 3,00,000 89
2017 3,30,437 58.16
2018

According to these statistics, there was a steady incline in the overall pass rate from 2013 to 2016 but seemed to drop suddenly in 2017. It is to be noted that the number of students appearing for the examinations has been increasing steadily since 2013, all the way to 2017. However, the exact reason for the drastic change in pass rates is hard to say, and these statistics should not be used as predictive statistics for individual scores, but rather just to gauge an idea of the distribution of scores over time.

What do these Punjab School Education Board 10th results entail?

The Punjab School Education Board 10th Result will include a few things. The students will be able to see their overall scores and grade point average. In addition, there will be a breakdown of the candidate’s theory score and practical scores, their pass/fail status, the maximum marks, percentage, and the total marks they’ve obtained.
