The Government of Telangana has introduced this scholarship with the objective of motivating backward class students to pursue their higher education in foreign universities.
Students who are the only child in their family and have secured 60 percent or more in their foundation degree in Management, Engineering, Pure Sciences etc. are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The scholarship covers institution fee, living expense, education loan, passage grant and visa fees.
Imperial College Business School Advisory Board Scholarships 2018
Students who are interested in pursuing full time MBA course from the imperial college business school can apply for this scholarship after meeting the required eligibility criteria.
Meritorious students having three years of relevant postgraduate work experience and meeting the required level of GMAT or GRE scores are eligible to apply. Each successful applicant will receive and amount of GBP 51,000.
DLF Foundation Scholarship (AKANKSHA) 2017
The DLF Foundation is seeking applications from underprivileged students with the objective of providing them with the better career opportunities and improved livelihood for them and their families as well.
Meritorious students entering into the first year of their UG or PG courses and have a secured a seat for any of the applicable courses at UGC/NAAC approved institutes or colleges.
Each selected scholar will be awarded with an amount of INR 50,000 p.a.
Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2018-19
The objective of this scheme is to provide specialized training to talented students in diverse cultural fields focusing on rare art forms that are on the threshold of extinction.
Applicants of the age group of 10 to 14 years, studying in recognized school or belonging to families practicing traditional performing arts are eligible for this scholarship. Selected candidates will be rewarded with INR 3,600 per annum and up to INR 9000 of reimbursement.
Lok Sabha Research Fellowships 2018-19
The parliament of India is providing an amazing opportunity for the researchers falling under the age group of 25 to 70 years to undertake high standard research on parliamentary themes.
Applicants having master’s degree in any of the social science disciplines with outstanding research publications at the time of application with expertise in his or her own domain is eligible to apply.
An amount of INR 1,00,000 in addition to contingency allowance of INR 50,000 will be awarded.

Bank Account :
Question 1: Why should I get a bank account??
Answer : To receive a scholarship, every student must have a bank account in any of the nationalised scheduled banks.
Question 2: How do I change my bank account from the one that is registered on the epass website?
Answer :
Every student or college who desires to change his bank account to the one given on the website will have to submit the original bank documents with account particulars to the concerned welfare officers who can then submit a change request to the PMU.
Where colleges want to change their bank account they will have to furnish a no objection certificate from the existing bank and a no objection from the new bank for making a change request for the bank account
Student Registration :
Question 1: Can I register after the last date??
Answer: unless the date for registration has been extended you cannot register as the e-pass portal will not allow you to register. Please register in time to avoid disappointment!
Verification :
Question1: what is the meaning of verification in the scholarship process?
Answer:
The process of verification is essentially meant to check whether the particulars given in the scholarship form are correct as per the documents enclosed. The verification is done in two steps namely college verification and Independent verification.
College Verification: In this verification, the college principal has been mandated to verify the documents furnished by each student with the entry made in the application form. Once the verification is completed and all entries are found correct, he would finally sign the same and send it to the department for verification by the verification officer appointed by the District Collector
Verification by the Verification Officer: the verification officer appointed by the District Collector will conduct physical and documentary verification and submit his report either accepting or rejecting the scholarship application.
Scrutiny by the Welfare Officer: before each and every application is taken up for sanction it is the responsibility of the welfare officer to satisfy himself of the verification by the college principal and the verification officer and finally sanction the scholarship.
Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana has released an official notification offering scholarship for class X and class XII students. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply within one week.
