Top 10 Medical Colleges in India

There are some world-class top 10 medical colleges in India that you can get admission into through exams like AIIMS and NEET. These colleges provide various courses in the field of medical science, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In these colleges, the students have the option of going for different degrees like MBBS, BDS, MD, MDS and MS.

The best medical colleges in India were established during 1950s and 1960s through the efforts of the central and the state governments. However, since 1980s, a large number of private colleges have been established throughout the country. The Medical Council of India looks after the standard and the quality of these medical colleges. Christian Medical College and Hospital which is also abbreviated CMC is a century-old Christian educational center founded by Ida S. Scudder. It is one of the best medical colleges in Vellore and ranks second in the country.

Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi

It is a government medical college affiliated to the University of Delhi. The college is named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the great Indian freedom fighter. The medical education standard of this college is top quality, along with the good facilities it offers.

Armed Forces Medical College, Pune

AFMC or Armed Forces Medical College was established in May 1948 and it is an amalgamation of a number of Defence medical organizations.
