Established in 1948, MGM, Indore is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in India. 140 seats are available for MBBS degree while Post Graduate, Diploma and Paramedical degrees are also offered by the college.

Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal

Among the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh and in India, the courses offered by GMC are recognized by Medical Council of India and State Paramedical Council M.P.

Established in 2012 as one of the 6 new AIIMS, it provides degrees in MBBS and Nursing. PG programmes are yet to start.

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore

It offers degrees in MBBS, diploma and PG in various specialisations. The college is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya and recognised by Medical Council of India. 150 students are admitted every year for the MBBS program.

Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa

Established in 1963, it is amongst the oldest medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It offers the following courses, recognised by Medical Council of India:

L. N. Medical College and Research Centre, Bhopal

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College (NSCB Medical College) is the second oldest medical college in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded in 1955 as Government Medical College Jabalpur. Admission is through a pre-medical entrance exam and the current class size is 150 students per year.
