The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is a renowned state level examination which is conducted for admission to the first year of B. Tech. /B. Arch./B. Pharm./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA/MCA/MAM and second year of B. Tech./B. Pharm./MCA courses. UPSEE is conducted for 12 papers. The UPSEE 2019 entrance test was conducted on 29th April 2019. In this article, we will give information on UPSEE Result 2019.

UPSEE Result 2019 Important Dates
The official notice communicating the dates for the UPSEE result 2019 will be released by the AKTU in the month of January 2019. However, for your reference, we’ve put together the tentative dates for UPSEE result 2019 based on last year’s information brochure.

UPSEE 2019 Reservation of Seats
In this section, candidates can learn about the seat reservation aspect of the UPSEE 2019 examination. Please note that the candidates seeking reservation need to furnish the relevant Category or Sub-Category certificates at the time of UPSEE 2019 Counselling to support their claim for the reserved seats.

Cutoff Analysis of UPSEE 2017
The minimum marks that a candidate needs to score an examination are called the cut-off marks for that particular examination. The UPSEE cut-off marks needed by the candidates to get featured in the UPSEE merit-list are as under:
- 25% for the candidates other than SC/ST.
- 20% for SC/ST candidates.

UPSEE 2019 Result, Merit List by AKTU / UPTU
The UPSEE 2019 merit list will be prepared by calculating the overall marks of the candidates. In order to qualify and feature in the merit-list, a candidate must secure marks equal to the UPSEE 2019 cut-off marks. The merit list contains the list of qualified candidates in the order of merit and also has the merit position, overall marks, and marks scored in each subject.
In the event of a tie between students wherein two or more students secure equal overall marks, the inter se merit list prepared to break such ties and decide which student will get the seat.
The UPSEE 2019 inter se merit of the candidates is decided by keeping in mind the following points:
- First, the number incorrect answers are taken into account i.e. the candidate with the fewer number incorrect responses will be placed higher in the merit list.
- If the tie still persists, then the marks secured by the candidates in individual sections of the UPSEE 2019 examination are taken into account.
The table given below gives information on the tie-breaking criteria for each branch of the UPSEE 2019 examination.

Any Objections to the UPSEE Answer Key
The candidates are requested to go through the answers and solutions of these papers. In case they find any error/mistake in the answers or solutions, they may write their grievances or ask for clarification by sending an E-Mail from their registered E-Mail ID to the university latest before the last date in the prescribed format as mentioned below:

- The candidates must also send the scanned copy of any relevant textbook for reference if required.
- Any Mail not duly containing the information above shall be considered vague & thereby rejected.
- The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2019 Result will tentatively be declared in the fourth week of May 2019.
- Candidates have to enter their Roll Number of UPSEE 2019 to get their result.
- The result will be published based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination.
- There will be a separate Merit List of UPSEE 2019 for the B. Tech. courses.
- After the declaration of the result, the candidates will get admission according to their merit position, scores obtained in the UPSEE 2019 with the total marks in each subject.
- The inter se merit will also be decided based on some basic rules given below.
- Candidates will be able to check the UPSEE result 2019 only via online mode.
- The result will be released along with the answer keys.
- After the declaration of result, the scorecard will be declared by the exam conducting authority.
- Students can download their scorecards through the official portal of UPSEE. The scorecard will contain candidate’s total marks and marks obtained in each subject of entrance test.
Guidelines to check the UPSEE result 2019
To check the UPSEE result 2019, candidates must follow the steps given below:
- Click on the link given on the official site.
- On opening the link, candidates will have to submit the asked details, such as Date of Birth and UPSEE 2019 Roll Number.
- The required details must be filled carefully in the designated place.
- The candidates should then confirm by clicking on the “Submit” button.
- Thereafter, the UPSEE result 2019 will be displayed on the screen.
- One must take a print out of the result and keep it safe for future preferences.
Note: It is advised that the candidates fill the 8 digit roll number carefully. Else the result will not be displayed.
The UPSEE result 2019 carries the score and rank of the candidates. The overall score and scores for each subject will be mentioned individually as well. It is must to take a print out of the UPSEE result 2019, as it will be required during the UPSEE counselling procedure and the admission.
UPSEE 2019 Counselling Procedure
The candidates qualifying the UPSEE 2019 examination and who feature in the merit list will be invited for the counselling process. The seats are allotted to the deserving candidates on the basis of their order of merit in one of the AKTU affiliated colleges.
