VITMEE Application Form 2018

Before applying for the VITMEE application form, candidates are required to read the information brochure carefully in order to get information about college campuses and understand the courses offered by the college. Some of the highlights about application form are as follows:

  • VITMEE 2018 application form will be accessible through online mode.
  • The application form will be tentatively available from the second week of March.
  • Candidates have to upload a scanned copy of passport size photograph & signature.
  • Candidates are required to keep a printed copy of the application form for future reference.
  • There is no need to send application form through offline mode (by post).
  • Candidates have to pay  950 as an application fee. The fee is non-refundable.
  • Candidates have to make payment through online mode by using net banking/ credit card/ debit cards.

VITMEE Slot Booking 2018

Aspiring candidates have to fill in and book a slot for themselves. VITMEE Slot Booking 2018 will be available online from 4th week of May 2018. Candidates, who successfully submit their application form and pay the application fee will be able to book slots for themselves. In the slot booking of VITMEE 2018, the applicants have to book the test slot and time as per their convenience in order to appear for the test. VITMEE 2018 slot booking will be done on first come first serve basis. Thus, all candidates must keep a track of the slot booking dates and book their slots at the earliest possible accordingly. A slot once booked cannot be changed. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address of the candidate who has booked his/her schedule through the VITMEE 2018 booking system.

VITMEE Admit Card 2018

The admit card of VITMEE 2018 will be available in online mode for downloading from 4th week of May 2018. Candidates must be aware that the admit card will not be available in offline mode i.e is it won’t be sent to the applicant via post. Only applicants, who book their slots and receive the confirmation about slot booking on their registered email ID, will be able to download VITMEE 2018 admit card. After downloading the VITMEE Admit Card 2018, the candidates must cross-check all the details on it carefully. If there occurs an error in the details in the admit card, the candidate must contact the VIT University authorities at earliest possible.The candidates will not be permitted to write the test without a valid admit card.

VITMEE 2018 Exam Pattern 

The exam pattern of VITMEE 2018 give details about the total number of questions in the paper, the time allotted to attempt the paper, nature of questions, marks allotted to the questions, marking scheme, etc.

VITMEE 2018 Cut off

VITMEE 2018 cutoff is the minimum score that is declared by VIT University for considering candidates for taking admissions in M.Tech programmes. The cut off of VITMEE 2018 is the minimum marks which are mandatory for the test takers to acquire or else they will not be considered eligible for admissions. Only candidates who secure the minimum cut-off score or marks or above that cut-off score will be called for counselling.

VITMEE 2018 Counselling 

Candidates, whose result for VITMEE 2018 is announced, will be eligible for participating in counselling of VITMEE 2018. For VITMEE Counselling 2018, the shortlisted candidates will get an SMS from VIT University. In order to check the schedule of the counselling, the test takers have to log in and check the counselling schedule. The candidates need to attend the counselling personally and get their original documents verified during the counselling and admission process. The counselling session will start from 4th week of June 2018.

They also have to pay Rs 10,000 (non-refundable fee) during counselling. This fee will be later adjusted in the tuition fee if the candidate confirms admission to the allotted seat.

The fee is to be paid through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore (only computerized DD will be accepted).

Documents required for verification during counselling/admission:

  • Mark Sheets of all semesters/years of the qualifying examination up to pre-final / final year as applicable
  • VITMEE Admit Card 2018
  • Marks Sheet for Class X and XII
  • Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate (If already received)
  • Valid GATE score card for Candidates applying for M.Tech. (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate obtained from the Institute last studied (If already received)
  • Community Certificate if applicable
  • Photographs of the candidate (minimum of 6)
  • DD for Rs.10,000, drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore.

VITMEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

VITMEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria list out the eligibility conditions required to be met by the aspiring candidates who want to appear in the entrance examination for M.Tech admissions. The Eligibility Criteria of VITMEE 2018 include eligibility conditions related to age, nationality and qualifying exam, etc.

  • All applicants must be Indian resident nationals.
  • The applicants should have passed with a graduate (full-time) degree.
  • He/she needs to have secured at least 50% marks in the graduate degree.
  • All candidates should have studied the degree course as a regular/full-time program from any university/college in India in the preceding 3 years.
  • Candidates appearing in final degree/final semester exam in 2018 are also considered eligible.
  • Candidates whose final year/final semester result is awaited can also apply, however, such candidates should have completed their final year exam before the counselling/interview. Also, they need to submit their final year marks sheet on or before August 15, 2018.
  • They are also required to have studied in regular school in class X and XII.
