WBJEE 2017 Admit Card

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination known commonly as WBJEE is a state level entrance exam for admission in undergraduate programmes like B.E./B.Tech/MBBS in various private and government medical and engineering colleges in the state of West Bengal. Approximately 3 lakh students take WBJEE every year. It is conducted to screen candidates for admissions in undergraduate engineering, architecture & pharmacy programmes offered by various colleges and universities of West Bengal. Through this exam, students will get eligible for admissions in Government Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the state of West Bengal.

WBJEE 2017 application form will be available from the First week of January 2017 while the exam will take place in Third Week of May 2017. This article will inform you about WBJEE 2017 admit card and its relevant procedures. Read on!

Procedure to download WBJEE 2017 Admit Card

  • Go to the official website of WBJEE to find the link to download the admit card. Details asked from the candidate will be the same as that when applying for WBJEE 2017 as follows:
    • Application Form Number
    • Date of Birth
  • You might be required to clear a security pin along with the above to access your admit card. The Admit Card for WBJEE 2017 holds various details like roll number and the examination centre allotted to the candidate.
  • The candidate must take a printed hard copy of the WBJEE Admit Card to appear in the examination. Ensure that the photograph and signature printed on the admit card are not tampered with.

Details to be mentioned in WBJEE 2017 Admit Card 

 In the Admit Card, following details will be mentioned, which a candidate must go through first. Check if all of these details are correct.

  • Name
  • Enrollment Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Exam Date
  • Scheduled Time
  • Address of Exam Centre
  • Photograph, Signature

Crucial Details about the Admit Card / Hall Ticket

These are the important details that a candidate must keep in mind.

  • The admit card will be provided by admission committee, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
  • It will be available online. No hall ticket will be send by post to the candidate.
  • An aspirant must check the details mentioned in the card.
  • Admit Card is one of the important document for examination. Therefore, it is should not be mutilated/distorted/soiled, not even by mistake.
  • In such cases, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the entrance examination.
  • The admit card will be carried by the candidates during counselling. Thus, candidates are advised to retain the admit card carefully in secured places under undamaged conditions till the end of admission process.
  • Candidates also have to carry a printed hard copy as well as a photograph, same as used earlier, to the allotted examination centre.
  • The hall ticket must be handed over to the invigilator for the verification process, whenever asked.
  • Candidates must ensure that they conserve a proper admit card befor reaching the examination centre.
  • In such circumstances, to avoid any last minute discrepancies, candidates must contact the concerned office.
  • No excuse will be permitted, if candidate fails to report to the exam centre on scheduled date and time.

Disparity in WBJEE 2017 Admit Card
