Overview

Class 6 Geography throws light on the significant geographical aspect of the planet Earth. Geography of class 6 consists of a total of 8 chapters. The first chapter is The Earth in the Solar System. This chapter will allow you to relate yourself to the universe. Students will realize that the Earth is a part of the solar system. The next chapter is Globe: Latitudes and Longitudes. Here students will learn about the various concepts of Geography like the equator, axis, latitude, and longitude. Moving on, the next chapter is Motions of the Earth. Here students will be exposed to knowledge about the Earth’s rotation and revolution. Maps is the fourth chapter where students will learn the proper way to analyze a map and its components. In the Major Domains of the Earth chapter, students will learn about the important components of the environment which are lithosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere. Furthermore, Major Landform of the Earth will teach you about the lithosphere and the processes that affect it. Besides, the students will also about learn about landforms like plains, plateaus, and mountains. Moreover, Our Country India will let you understand the geographical information about India. Finally, India: Climate, Vegetation, and Wildlife will teach about the various types of vegetation, seasons, and wildlife of India.
