Overview

Class 7 History, which for most of the students is a boring subject because it is based on historical facts and things that happened in the past. Also, the book contains ten chapters each describing a different part of our history. Chapter 1 teaches how ancient people lived based on the inscriptions, coins, styles of architecture, etc. Chapter 2 specifically consults the part of the 7th to 12th century when major dynasties came to power in various parts of the sub-continental. Chapter 3 is about Delhi Sultans and how Islam reaches India from Turkey. Chapter 4 highlights the Mughal Empire whose foundation in India is laid down by Babur. Chapter 5 discusses Rulers and building s they made all over India. Chapter 6 explains the importance of Towns, Traders, and Craftsperson. Chapter 7 deals with tribes, nomads, and settled communities that do not follow social rules and rituals prescribed by the Brahmanas. Chapter 8 teaches about birth and the need for religion and how different people perform different rituals of worship. Chapter 9 explains how different people of different regions develop different regional cultures, norms, customs, and rituals. Chapter 10 deals with the political formation in the eighteen-century that reshaped Indian history.
