What is BCECE?

  • BCECE stands for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination
  • This examination is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB)
  • Candidates who clear this examination with flying colours are offered admission to engineering, medical and agricultural courses offered by institutes located in Bihar
  • While admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch programmes will be based on BCECE, admissions to MBBS will be based on NEET UG.
  • BCECE is conducted in two phases in the month of June.

  • Duration of each section will be of 90 minutes .
  • Attempting Physics and Chemistry is compulsory. Engineering aspirants should attempt Mathematics.

How to apply Stroke 396

Eligibility Criteria for BCECE

  • You have to be an Indian national
  • Your state of residence should be Bihar
  • You should have completed 17 years of age on December 31 of the admission year
  • You should have passed all the necessary subjects according to your group - PCM/ Biotechnology, Biology and Technical Vocational subject with a minimum of 45% marks(40% for reserved candidates).
  • Aspirants in their final year can also appear.

Registration for BCECE

  • The application form is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B
  • The first step is to register for BCECE exam by filling them up
  • The application form asks for details such as: course group, name, email id, category, contact details, password etc.
  • Next, click on the register button. Hitting the button will display all the details submitted
  • Make sure you review the details and then submit the application form
  • After this, you will receive a registration number, keep this safe
  • Now, login using your registration number (your username for login)
  • Use the password which you provided during registration
  • Loging in will redirect you to the fee payment page
  • After the application fee has been paid successfully, it is time to complete the application form.
  • The applicants will be required to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature (Hindi and English both).

Here are the specifications for photograph and signature upload.

Specifications for scanned images:

  • The scanned images of photographs & signatures must be in jpg/jpeg/png/gif format.
  • Size of the passport size photograph: 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
  • Photograph must be clicked after January 1, 2019 either in black & white or in colour with high contrast
  • The signature should have been done with a black ink pen on a white paper before scanning. There must not be any capital letter in signature.

After carefully examining and submitted the application form, aspirants will be required to download BCECE application form (Part-A and Part-B) and do the following:

  • Paste a coloured photograph at the specified space
  • Sign at the designated place in both English and Hindi
  • Fill the declaration with your own handwriting
  • Attach the board copy of paid bank challan (original copy) with the application form
  • Attach photocopies of all educational/reservation/category documents and certificates
  • Write "Application for BCECE-2019" in bold letters on the envelope along with your subject group. Use a yellow colour envelope of size 17 cm x 30 cm for sending the application through Registered Post/Speed Post
  • Enclose all the above in the envelope and send it to the following address.

The application fee can be paid via Bank Challan or through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.

Admit Card for BCECE

The BCECE admit card can be downloaded from the official website. This card is made available in the month of May. The admit card has details like your name, address, contact details, test centres etc.

Results and cut-off Stroke 396

The results of BCECE will be declared by BCECEB, The results will contain important information such as category wise rank of each candidate. This will be declared in month of July. The results may or may not be declared in two stages. Only those aspirants who clear the exam will be able to appear for the counselling sessions.

Cut-off for BCECE 2019

The cut-off for BCECE will be declared shortly after the examination has been conducted.

BCECE 2019 cut-off is yet to be announced.
