How to prepare Stroke 396

Preparation Tips for UPSEE

  • Be thorough with your basics: Most questions in the UPSEE exam test your basics. The more you read concepts, the more you will understand how they are applied to different questions.
  • Time management: You must allocate equal time to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Don’t forget to focus on your weak areas.
  • Define your study material: Studying from too many sources can cause confusion. Stick to a few well-known and established reference books. This way, you can evolve your concepts via problem solving, instead of just reading.
  • Know your strengths and weaknesses: Always keep analyzing yourself. If you know your weaknesses, you can work on addressing them. Ask doubts, probe concepts and leave no stone unturned in your preparations.
  • Simulating examination: Refer previous years’ papers and sample papers. Take mock tests under timed conditions. Try to adapt your body clock to the examination schedule. This way, you can give your best at that time.
  • Revision notes: Make notes of concepts that require regular revision; whether mathematical formulae or important chemical reactions. These notes are invaluable in your last-minute preparations. They will help you go through concepts very quickly.
