AKTU conducts the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam for residents of Uttar Pradesh. Around 2 lakh candidates apply for this exam every year.
Through this exam, you can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and medicine.
The counselling for this exam begins right after the class 12 board results.
There is no age limit for this exam.
You must have taken up Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your 10+2 or equivalent exam.
You must have taken up Physics and Mathematics OR Biology as compulsory subjects in your 10+2 or equivalent exam (for B. Tech courses).
You must have one optional subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or a Technical Vocational subject.
As a General category candidate, you must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45%.
If you are an SC or ST category candidate, the minimum aggregate is 40%.

You need a registered Aadhaar Card Number to be eligible to apply for UPSEE.

The UPSEE rank list is prepared for each course (paper) after evaluating the performance of all candidates.
Once the results are declared, you can get your answer sheet checked at a cost of Rs. 5000 per paper. You need to do this in the first 7 days.

Ans: If you have cleared the qualifying examination from UP, then you are eligible as a UPGE candidate.

Ans: Corrections can be made from 27th to 30th March, 2019*.

Ans: A total of 323 colleges consider UPSEE scores for admissions. This includes 6 government universities and colleges, 5 self-financed but government aided colleges, 10 fully government aided colleges and 302 private colleges.
