Answer Key

The VITEE Answer Key helps candidates in cross-checking and matching their answers (which they have marked in VITEEE 2017 exam) and thus estimating their probable score in the entrance exam. VIT University will not release any answer key for VITEEE 2017, as the entrance exam is an online test. The answer key may be released by leading coaching institutes after the declaration of the VITEEE 2017 result.

Result

VITEEE 2017 has been conducted successfully from 5th to 16th April, 2017, by the VIT University. The exam was held in three slots:

  • Slot 1: 09:00 am to 11:30 am
  • Slot 2: 12:30 pm to 03:00 pm
  • Slot 3: 04:00 pm to 06:30 pm

The result has been declared by the University on April 23rd, 2017. Candidates who sat for VITEEE during 5th to 16th April, 2017, can visit the official VIT website to check their result and rank. They must enter their application number, verification code and password to access their VITEEE Result.

The result calculation is based on the Equipercentile Equating Method by VIT University. It is a statistical method where the exam conducting body, VTU, adjusts scores of candidates on test forms. These scores are taken on different test forms to calculate a comparison for the merit list and ranking of the candidates. This method helps identify the percentile ranks for candidates, whereby scores on different forms with the same percentile rank will be considered equal.

If you’re a freshman taking the VITEEE, check out some important tips here.

Cut-off

The VITEEE 2017 Cut-off has not yet been declared officially by the VIT University.
