Sets in Mathematics: We all know that in a library all books are arranged in shelves on the basis of a particular pattern. This pattern is in turn based on a specific property. Such as, alphabetically in the order of their title or author name or their language. Is this done to make it easy for us to find a particular book? Well, yes!
Now, to better understand the concept of sets in mathematics we can make a few analogies. For Example, consider shelves as sets, the books as elements of sets and the stock operations as relations and functions. So, we can conclude that sets, relations, and functions are nothing but the tools to sort a bulk of data available. Consequently, it simplifies operating on the data as well.
