Experts also call this tract as the digestive tract. This tract contains hollow organs and their connection is to a long, winding tube. The follow organs which form the digestive tract include the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Besides these, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are also part of the digestive tract. The small intestine absorbs almost all the nutrients from the food.
