Constructions Class 10 CBSE Revision Notes
Maths Construction Notes refers to the eleventh chapter of CBSE Class 10 Maths. Students are expected to already familiar in class 10 regarding certain constructions by making use of a straight ruler and a compass. Such constructions are bisecting an angle, some constructions of triangles, drawing the perpendicular bisector of line angle, etc. and also provided their solutions. Students must provide the mathematical reasoning as to why such constructions work. Consider the example of a line segment and its division has to take place in the ratio 3:2. A good way of doing is to measure the length and then making a point on it that would make the division possible in the desired ratio. Furthermore, in case one does not have any way of measuring, then two ways are available for finding such a point. One way is to divide a line segment in a given ratio and the second way is to construct a triangle similar to a given triangle according to a given scale factor.
