CBSE Class 6 Science Chapter 5 – Separation of Substances Revision Notes
In the Separation of Substances class 6 notes, we will learn the separation process, the purpose for separation and what all components can be separated from different materials such as solids, liquids or gases. Then, we will be discussing the different methods of separation. This would include gaining knowledge about Handpicking, Threshing, Winnowing, Sieving methods of Separation. However, we will learn that lighter impurities require the process of sedimentation and decantation for their removal. Furthermore, we will learn about the filtration method.
