BCECE 2020: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has postponed the BCECE 2020 examination until further notice. The Board released a notification on its website addressed to the candidates, parents, and all concerned. The BCECE 2020 was scheduled for April 19 and 20. However, due to the CVID-19 and lockdown situation, the postponement of dates was essential. Further, the notification states that the Board will inform the candidates about the rescheduled dates via its website. Additionally, there is a postponement of the date of issuance of the Admit Cards from April 06 until further notice.
BCECE 2020 Exam Postponed
The BCECEB conducts the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination or BCECE every year. This is to screen candidates for admission to various undergraduate courses in Agricultural Science, Pharmacy, Paramedical, etc. Earlier, this exam would grant admission to engineering and medical courses too. However, now engineering courses require JEE Main scores and medical and dental courses need NEET UG scores.
Further, the Board has extended the last date for filling the application form for the Diploma Combined Entrance Examination (DCECE) 2020 to April 26, 2020. An applicant that registers for DCECE 2020 before April 26th can pay the requisite fees on or before April 28, 2020. Also, the Board will keep the application correction window open from April 29 – May 1, 2020. However, BCECEB will declare the dates of the exam in the due course of time on its website.
While most candidates are worried about the uncertainty around the dates, it is prudent to continue preparing for the exams. As soon as the lockdown situation is under control, the Board can decide to conduct the exam. Hence, candidates can utilize this time optimally to cover as much as they can. Further, they must regularly check the website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for any updates.
