Mumbai, Maharashtra: Central Trade unions have agreed to indulge in a Bharat Bandh tomorrow – January 8, 2020. The bandh is likely to impact banking services. Further, there are concerns that the bandh will affect the national and state-level examinations along with the school holidays. Above all, various important exams like JEE Main 2020, UPTET 2019, and ICAR NET are all set to take place tomorrow. Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, ASRB is responsible for conducting the ICAR NET examination. Further, the examination will take place between January 8 and January 10 across India. Moreover, an important notification has been released by the ASRB. According to the official notification, the examination of ICAR NET 2019 would take place according to the original schedule.

In case of any unforeseen circumstance, if the ICAR NET examination fails to take place on January 8, then it shall take place on January 11, 2020. Moreover, if this eventuality turns out to be true, then no change would take place in the venue, slot, and timing of the examination.

In the case of UPTET 2019 and JEE Main 2020, candidates who have exams on January 8, 2020, no official update has been received from the respective authorities. Further, one can expect the examination to take place to take place according to the schedule.

Besides, there was an early postponement of UPTET 2019 due to the Anti-CAA protests in December. Hence, it seems unlikely that there would be another postponement of the examination. It is also highly unlikely that a postponement will take place in the case of JEE Main 2020. There has been no announcement of the school holiday by the states as yet.
