BSEB 2021: Class 10 and 12 Compartmental exams postponed due to COVID-19 surge

Highlights on Bihar Board Exams 2021:

BSEB has postponed the Class 10^th and 12^th Board compartmental exams. Bihar D.El.Ed 2021 (special) exams have also been postponed.

Mumbai: BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board) has postponed the Bihar board compartmental exams for Class 10^th and 12^th until further notice amid the rising coronavirus cases across the country. Bihar D.El.Ed 2021 (special) exams have also been postponed. The board will decide the new exam dates later, once the situation normalizes.

Previously, Class 10 compartmental exams were scheduled to be held from 5^th to 8^th May 2021 while Class 12 compartmental exams were scheduled from 29^th April 29 to 10^th May 2021. Also, the Bihar D.El.Ed Special Exams were scheduled from 26^th to 30^th April 2021.

The students who failed or could not appear in the Bihar Board Class 10 and 12 exams, can appear for the BSEB compartmental exams. Once they clear the compartmental exams they get promoted to the next class.

Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar has announced to close all educational institutions till 15^th May. Thus, no schools and universities of the state shall conduct an examination during this time.
