CA November Exam 2020: ICAI has postponed the exams that were to be held on 24th and 25th November in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to Cyclone Nivar

Highlights:
The ICAI has postponed the CA Intermediate and the CA Final (Old & New) Examination to be held on 24th and 25th November in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry owing to the threat caused by the Cyclone Nivar. The rescheduled Intermediate and IPC exam will be held on 9th December 2020 and the Final (Old & New) Examination on 11th December in the cities under threat. However, the candidates will not be issued new admit cards for the same and their old admit cards will remain valid.
Mumbai: ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) has postponed the exams that were to be conducted on 24th and 25th November 2020 in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry owing to Cyclone Nivar. The institute has officially notified this on the official website icai.org.

According to the official notification, the ICAI has postponed the CA November 2020 exams in those cities of coastal areas which are under threat due to the Cyclone Nivar. ICAI tweeted, “Important Announcement for Examinees in some cities of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry with regards to ICAI November 2020 Examinations in view of the Nivar Cyclone.”
It has rescheduled the examinations in December for the students of Chennai, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Karaikudi, Kumbakonam, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Tiruvallur and Villupuram, and Puducherry. The Intermediate and IPC exam will be held on 9th December 2020 and the Final (Old & New) Examination will be held on 11th December 2020, for the students of these cities.
However, the candidates will not be issued new admit cards or hall tickets will for the rescheduled exams. They can appear for the rescheduled exams with the old admit cards.
