Mumbai: The CAT 2020 exam will be held on the upcoming Sunday, 29th November 2020. The exam will be held in 3 sessions, morning 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM, afternoon 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM and evening: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Not much time is left and thus the candidates need some last-minute preparations for the exam so that they can perform well.

The candidates can follow the tips suggested by the experts scoring 99 percentile (sectional and overall) for revising the syllabus so that the aspirants surely get a call from the IIMs and the other B-schools. The candidates should make ‘flashcards’ having all the important formulas and important points in the correct format. As last-minute preparations, they may only go through these and revise the syllabus. They should revise the key points from all the important chapters which have the highest probability of being asked in the exams as it would be difficult to revise each and everything.

In section ‘Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)’, the important topics are Reading Comprehension, Passage Summary, Para Jumbles, Paragraph Completion and Correct Usage of Phrasal Verbs. In section ‘Quantitative Aptitude (QA)’, the important topics are Number System, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Geometry, Mensuration, Algebra and Modern Mathematics.

In the section ‘Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)’, important topics are Tables, Charts, Graphs, Puzzles, Syllogism, Ranking, Blood Relations, Seating Arrangement, Venn Diagrams and Alphanumeric Series.

The candidates should practice at least 6-8 fifteen minutes CAT quiz on grading in a day. They thus need to train themselves to solve more and more questions with speed and accuracy.

The CAT 2020 answer key will be available from the second week of December 2020 while the results will be declared in the second week of January 2021.
